Emmy Award for two Aerial DPs





Congratulations to our contributing aerial DPs Skip Margetts and David McKay who in 2011 won an Emmy award for their work on National Geographic's 'Great Migrations' television series at the 32nd Annual News and Documentary Emmy® Awards.

'Contraband': US office coordinate aerials




Our LA based Film Pilot, David Calvert-Jones coordinated the aerials for Mark Wahlberg’s new film ‘Contraband' shot primarily in New Orleans.

Frozen Planet BBC TV series




Helifilms’ UK Technical Director, Mike Wright, was the Cineflex Consultant on the BBC's Frozen Planet series. He created specially designed Cineflex rigs, including snowmobile and boat rigs used to film frozen forests in North Finland, whales in The Falklands and polar bears in Svalbard.
